    A shared board for lessonsWe go through the material together, make notes and sketch solutions.
    Theory and practice on the boardWe cover the material we need and solve the problem.
    A shared code editorWe discuss the solution and write code in the same editor.
    We check by running the codeWe run the code, study the result and save the solution.
    Not memorising templates — understanding the codeWe work out why the solution works, so that when the problem changes you know what to change in the code.
    Below: a sample lesson

    What I teach

    Five directions.
    Pick yours.

    Russian Unified State Exam, grade 11

    EGE

    The goal is not just to pass, but to score as high as possible. We cover all 27 tasks, including the last ones where most points are lost.

    • Solving analytically or with Python
    • Working through your mistakes
    • Every task type in easy and hard variations
    90+
    Russian grade 9 exam

    OGE

    Calmly and step by step: from the basics to the programming tasks.

    • Every OGE task type
    • Coding tasks without fear
    • Goal: a confident top grade
    5
    From zero and beyond

    Python

    The language you need for the exam and after it. We learn to think like a programmer, not to copy code.

    • From zero, or from wherever it stopped making sense
    • Problems, not retold documentation
    • My Python basics course is free (in Russian)
    def solve(n):
        return n * (n + 1) // 2
    For school and olympiads

    C / C++

    What happens inside a program: types, memory, pointers, classes. So that code stops being magic.

    • Pointers and memory, made visual
    • OOP and data structures
    • What every line actually does
    int* p = &a[2];
    *p += 1;
    Competitive programming

    Olympiads

    Problems where no template helps. We learn to find the idea and prove the solution is correct.

    • Dynamic programming, graphs, combinatorics
    • Estimating algorithm complexity
    • Looking for the idea, not ready-made code
    O(n log n)

    This is not a lesson where you just sit and listen.

    We work on problems together: we discuss ideas, try different approaches, write code and check the solution as we go.

    If a step is still unclear, we can always stop and go through it in detail — at another pace, from another angle, until it clicks.

    • No stress, no boredom
    • Real conversation
    • Practice
    • Honesty

    Between lessons

    My courses.
    On top.

    In my courses, theory comes in short steps and is reinforced right away with questions, quizzes and problems. You can come back to a topic later — and ask me if something does not add up.Interactive courses do not cover every topic yet — I am actively writing more. Courses are in Russian for now.

    A little practice

    One problem each.
    Three directions.

    Pick a direction and try to solve the problem. You can open a hint or go straight to the walkthrough.

    EGE, networks

    Network address from an IP address and mask

    A host has the IP address 192.168.97.200 and the network mask 255.255.240.0.

    What is the network address?

    A simplified task.

    The network address is the bitwise AND of the address and the mask. Mask bytes of 255 keep the address byte unchanged, a 0 byte gives 0. That leaves the third byte: 97 and 240.

    Questions

    Good to know

    Still have a question?

    Can I start from zero?

    Yes. You do not need to learn Python or work through past papers first. In the trial lesson we will see what you already know and decide where to start.

    What happens in the trial lesson?

    We get to know each other, talk about your goal and what feels hard right now, and solve a couple of problems together — on the board and in code. The trial is free, with no obligation to continue.

    I am a parent. Can we talk first?

    Of course. Tell me what help is needed and what worries you — we will discuss the goal, the schedule and how to keep you informed. You get your own account on the platform with lessons, assignments, progress and payment records. And we will make sure to hear from the student too.

    One-to-one or in a small group?

    Whichever you prefer and whatever is available. One-to-one when you need your own pace. A small group brings together students with a similar goal and level — whether one is open right now, we will discuss personally.

    What do I need for online lessons?

    A computer or laptop, an internet connection and a way to talk. We meet on a video call; the board, code editor, materials and courses live on my platform, QuanTutor.

    Is the Python course really free?

    Yes. Message me and I will open access to the Python basics course on QuanTutor. You do not need to buy lessons. The course is currently in Russian.

    When and how do I pay?

    The trial is free. Regular lessons are paid after they take place, within a week. We agree on the price and schedule in advance — no packages to buy upfront.

    The first lesson
    is free.

    Tell me about your goal. We will solve a couple of problems together — on the board and in code. Whether to continue is up to you.

    Enrolment is open, but places are limited — best to arrange early.
